Who is TONS?

The Southeast Educational Conference is a collaborative education conference that is hosted by the four MPI Florida chapters – Tampa Bay Area, Greater Orlando Area, North Florida, and South Florida (TONS).  Though the conference is hosted in Florida each year, conference attendees from across the United States and Caribbean attend this annual event.

How Does TONS Guide the SEC?

The TONS Advisory Council is made up of two representatives from each Florida chapter of MPI, in hopes of guiding the conference to an even greater success each year. We provide general guidelines to each year’s group of chairs to assure the highest quality and value to the conference participants.

The TONS Advisory Council also acts as a steering body to provide vision, strategic planning and direction to ensure the continued success of the SEC. It is essential that the Chapters support these efforts and adhere to the standards, policies and procedures as agreed upon by TONS and the Chapters’ Boards of Directors.

The SEC has been hailed by meeting professionals as the “best educational and networking conference in the southeast”. It is serious education, quality networking and a whole lot of fun! This conference is typically held each year in August, except when the MPI World Education Conference is held in Florida.
